More About Me + BiblioLifestyle
The long and short story of how we got here!
About BiblioLifestyle
I’ve been writing an email newsletter via a traditional email service provider for many years, but more seriously and for myself, for over five years. Since hitting send on January 10th, 2020, I’ve never missed a Friday since my first issue — whether rain or shine, public holidays, Christmas, or even a hurricane (yes, I live in Florida.)
I’ve now made the leap, and I’m hosting my newsletter here exclusively on Substack since Friday, December 13th, 2024!
About Me (Victoria)
I’m Victoria, the writer behind BiblioLifestyle! I’ve lived in over five countries, so I often joke I’m from everywhere and nowhere. But I’ve put down roots in Florida since immigrating to the United States in 2016, and I now call this crazy experiment home (and yes, I love it, flaws and all.)
I’ve been a lifelong reader who has experienced several bouts of analysis paralysis, reading slumps, and being easily distracted by new and buzzy books. But I’m now at the point where I follow the beat of my drum, and it has served me well in both my reading and personal life.
I believe in living a balanced life, so you’ll also find lifestyle-themed content that reflects what I do in my daily life. I often think about wellness, slowing down, and living a more intentional and fulfilling life. Journaling is a big part of my self-care routine, and practicing seasonal living has improved my health, mood, and overall lifestyle. So these are some of the themes outside book recommendations you’ll see in my writings.
I’m not here to tell you what to read or what to do. Instead, please think of me as a friend providing you with a list of ideas and recommendations, and your job is to say yes to the suggestion that immediately catches your attention, aligns with your interests, and that you’re in the mood for.
