Weekly Wrap-Up: Reading Reflections, Highlights, and What’s Ahead📚✨
Hi Bookish Besties!
Happy Sunday! As the weekend winds down, I’m here with your weekly dose of reflections, bookish highlights, and updates on what’s coming next. Whether you’re catching up on your TBR or planning for the week ahead, I hope this wrap-up brings a little inspiration to your day.
I also want to take a moment to acknowledge the devastation caused by the fires in California. It’s heartbreaking to see the impact on communities. I’ve been keeping those affected in my prayers and hope they receive the resources they need for their immediate safety and well-being.
A Personal Note: This Week in My Reading
This week started strong for my reading life but quickly became nonexistent. I’ve had a lot going on—I’m not home, attended a family member’s funeral, and am now preparing to travel back home.
Early in the week, I managed to reread Emma by Jane Austen, which I’m excited to cover here on Substack soon. I also finished three books I’m vetting for the spring reading guide.
I’m really looking forward to getting home to some Ayn Rand books a kind subscriber gifted me. I’m eager to explore her works, and I think they will be the perfect palette cleanser I need before getting back to new releases I’m reading for the guide.
